Packing Facility

Al Zaraon Al Arab provides its Packing services for Medjool dates local farmers through the following stages: Preliminary sorting: Dates are sorted by Palestinian workers who have been trained intensively to sort out the corresponding dates that will be taken into the secondary stage of sorting. Secondary sorting: At this stage, the dates that have been sorted manually are sterilized and washed eliminate the existence of insects and their eggs by using ultraviolet technology. The dates are then dried and passed on to another manual sorting line to guarantee the removal of incompatible dates. In the last sorting stage, the dates are classified automatically by weight, shape, skin separation, humidity level and other criteria to ensure an identical high quality product. Finally, the dates are packed in carton boxes of different sizes ranging from 250 g to 5 kg. It is then stored and refrigerated as shown in the subsequent stage.

Storage Facility

Al Zaraon Al Arab also provides a refrigerated storage facility as one of its services for local palm growers. The product has to be stored in a suitable environment at -18 degrees celsius to maintain a long-lasting shelf life and freshness throughout the year.

Shipping

Our dates have reached markets all over the world. Our products can be shipped to anywhere either by land, by air or by sea. While all air shipments are shipped from Amman Airport or Ben Gurion airport to reach our customers, shipping by sea is in refrigerated containers at minus 18 °C, shipped from Haifa port or Ashdod port Our products are shipped in two ways. We either take full responsibility for transporting the containers from the packing plant in Jericho until they reach the port of departure and from there to the designated port. Or, the buyer is responsible for the container from the moment of departure from the land of the factory until the arrival to the requested destination.
